Former IP & Technology Lawyer | Entrepreneur | Commercial Negotiator
Camille Malécot is a former intellectual property and technology lawyer at DLA Piper Luxembourg, where she spent three and a half years working at the intersection of law, technology and business. She subsequently founded Kivalao, a digital platform for mountain accommodation and activities, gaining first-hand experience of the challenges of sourcing, processing and reusing data while building a digital product. She currently works in commercial contract negotiation in the real estate and tourism sectors and explores how AI can be implemented at all levels of an organization, accelerate product development & improve efficiency. Combining legal expertise with hands-on entrepreneurial experience, she is particularly interested in the gap between responsible data principles and the realities of building digital products, and in how responsible data practices can be made easier to implement in everyday workflows.
