Francisco Azuaje leads AI and data science in national-scale genomic medicine. His career spans academia, the public sector and the pharmaceutical industry. Across these settings he has led the application of AI to complex biomedical data, including multi-omics, clinical and pre-clinical imaging, natural language processing and real-world evidence. His work centres on models and applications that advance precision medicine and therapy development. He has built interdisciplinary teams that turn research into solutions for patients and for scientific progress.
