Call for Proposals – Data Summit Luxembourg 2026

Plenary Program – 4th Edition - 2 December 2026 

Theme: “Empowering People, Enabling Tools, Ensuring Governance”

The Data Summit Luxembourg returns on 2 December 2026 for its 4th edition, bringing together professionals from across the data and AI landscape. As one of the country’s key annual events, the Data Summit Luxembourg gathers decision-makers, experts, practitioners, and innovators who are shaping the responsible and effective re-use of data for value creation. Every year again it provides a unique platform to explore trends, share experiences, and reflect on the evolution of data practices 

For this edition, we are pleased to announce the official call for proposals for the plenary program. 

Why contribute to the 2026 Plenary Program? 

This is a valuable opportunity to: 

• Showcase concrete results from real-world data and AI initiatives with scale and impact. 

• Be recognised as a leading contributor to the data & AI community. 

• Engage directly with a dynamic community of professionals committed to advancing the maturity of data practices. 

Whether you are leading a pioneering data initiative, deploying AI in transformative ways, or building data governance frameworks that enable responsible innovation, your experience matters. 

The Data Summit Luxembourg thrives on the contributions of professionals who share their expertise and inspire progress across the community. 

What we are looking for? 

We welcome proposals that offer clear, practical insights, grounded in real use cases. We encourage submissions featuring: 

• Showcase real and impactful applications of data and AI in public or private organisations 

• Demonstrate methodologies, tools, or governance approaches that can guide others on their data journey 

• Share best practices that others can adopt 

• Talk about lessons learned: what worked, what didn’t, and why 

• Share practical knowledge supporting the impact of the capabilities developed 

• We also welcome forwardlooking stories. Your project does not need to have all results available today however, the outcomes should be ready and sufficiently mature to be presented at the event in December 2026. 

• Exclusion: the Data Summit Luxembourg focuses on multiorganisational data sharing and reuse. Proposals that relate exclusively to projects using data from a single organisation fall outside the scope of its programme. 

Your contribution should align with the main theme “Empowering People, Enabling Tools, Ensuring Governance”, or with the tagline of this Data Summit: “Quality Data Unleashed”. 

Format of the plenary contributions 

Each accepted plenary intervention will take the form of: 

• A keynote presentation of 10 minutes 

• 1 or 2 speakers per presentation 

• Slides, movies or live demonstrations to illustrate the talk 

This concise format is meant to keep content focused, dynamic, and accessible for our large, diverse audience. 

How to apply? 

Please submit the following information: 

1. Title of the keynote 

2. Name(s) of the speaker(s) 

3. Description of the proposed topic 

• Highlight the use case, methodology, results, or best practices (half a page maximum) 

4. Contact details 

All proposals will be reviewed by the Data Summit Luxembourg 2026 Program Committee. 
Notification of results is expected by June 2026.
