Ambassador for Cybersecurity and Digitalisation

Luc Dockendorf started working in international relations in 2003 and has been a career diplomat since 2006. In March 2025, he was named Luxembourg’s thematic Ambassador for Cybersecurity and Digitalisation. He has worked in Brussels, New York, and Geneva, and was a member of Luxembourg’s team on the UN Security Council in 2013-2014 and the UN Human Rights Council in 2022-2024. Beside cyber diplomacy, human rights, and security policy, he has worked on development cooperation (multilateral and NGO), and multilateral diplomacy.
