Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST)
Olivier Guillon is a French-German materials scientist and engineer. In September 2025, he joined LIST after holding the position of Director of the Institute of Energy Materials and Devices at Forschungszentrum Jülich in Germany. He has coordinated numerous research activities, particularly the Helmholtz programme 'Materials and technologies for the energy transition', which involves several research centres and over 1,300 staff members. A member of the NFDI4ING initiative, he has also gained experience working in the USA, Japan, and Taiwan. Recognized at the international level, he is a professor at RWTH Aachen University and the University of Luxembourg.
